Description
Graduate fellow, Maggie Beetstra, explored why farmers have been slow to adopt cover crops, a conservation practice to improve soil health and reduce nutrient runoff. Her study suggests that approaching farmers during certain seasons, when they have more resources available, may improve adoption rates.
