Description
Threats to Ohio’s water quality come from urban, suburban, and rural areas. Our activities and changes in weather and climate can influence water quality, affecting groundwater, creeks, streams, major rivers and our lakes and reservoirs. These challenges are dynamic and require the attention of experts in many fields. Faculty and staff in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) are working diligently to gather as many solutions as possible to ensure clean water for today and future generations.
We’ve collected the insightful research addressing water quality from the CFAES in this interactive map. Click on the green plus signs below to learn more about this work and what we’ve discovered.
