Description
Ohio's planting season has gained another month, which could cause major problems for soybean growers. Soybean pathogens, like Soybean Cyst Nematode, can survive a mild winter and cause yield issues. Dr. Alex Lindsay and his CFAES colleagues used funding from the AgTech Innovation Hub to support a multi-part project focused on protecting seed health. They're looking at how soybean seeds respond to extreme weather and possible solutions that can help one of Ohio's top crops continue to flourish in the state.
