AgTech Innovation Hub: Automated drainage water management

Agricultural drainage helps farmers manage water levels on their farmland. When it rains extensively, farmers can help move that water out of the field. Automating that process helps farmers react more easily and precisely to changing water conditions.

Dr. Vinayak Shedekar and Dr. Steve Lyons are testing an automated system with remote access via cellphone and computer to help producers more effectively manage water on their land.
